Hi 2023 Gators!!

A few quick notes as we get ready to kick off the season!! 

DIVE INFO
Dive practice starts on 5/30.  Please see previous email from 5/23 regarding some changes and tweaks for the start of the season and complete practice times. Email Coach Jess with any questions regarding dive ([email protected]). 

SWIM INFO

SWIM STARTS on 5/31. Here is the list of swim practice times from our website:

Monday thru Thursday

13 & Over | 8:00-9:00am

Winter Swimmers | 8:00-9:00am

11 -12 year olds | 9:00-9:45am

9-10 year olds | 9:40-10:25am

8 & Under | 10:10-10:55am

Mini Gators | 10:55-11:30

You will notice a little overlap in some practice times–coaches will use this time for stretching and stroke instruction on dryland.

Winter Swimmers--you will notice we have a practice specifically for those who swim in the winter. This is simply to offer these swimmers a little more time in the water and a little more distance at practice as their skill level and endurance is often different from their peers. If you would rather go to your age-group practice time, that is ok too.

FUN Fridays

FUN Fridays, there will be games and DONUTS!

11 & Up | 9:30-10:15

10 & Under| 10:15-11:00

*IMPORTANT--FUN Fridays are the days after meets, so the first Friday of June will be a regular practice day/schedule.

Evening Practices

We are bringing back an evening practice option for swimmers ages 11 and up. Our hope is that some swimmers who have been unable to swim in the past due to commitments to other sports in the morning, may be able to make this option work and be a part of our team as they grow, and their commitments to a variety of sports grow. If you are interested in this option, please reach out to Coach Abby. This is not something you can just show up for–we need to know in advance, so please reach out to coach Abby ([email protected]) if you are interested in this option. This is from 5:00-6:00 on Mondays and Tuesdays. We are excited that this may allow some of our older swimmers to continue their swimming career!! 

MINI-GATORS

Minis start on 6/5. This year all Minis will be from 10:55-11:30
